Bridges are installed alongside the Cascade 5000 to energize and read Wiliot IoT Pixels. The C5000 connects the Wiliot Bridges to the store network, and relays Wiliot tag data to the cloud, while the bridges handle the specialized energy harvesting protocol. Together, they form the backbone of Walmart’s asset tracking platform and cold chain temperature compliance without any per-item battery cost.

Vusion by SES-imagotag provides the electronic shelf label (ESL) system deployed across Walmart’s US stores. Each store contains thousands of battery-powered e-ink price tags that replace paper labels, enabling instant price updates, promotional changes, and planogram compliance — all managed wirelessly.
HOW IT INTEGRATES WITH RIGADO
Vusion ESLs communicate via BLE to the Cascade 5000 access points, which act as the radio bridge between the labels and Vusion’s cloud management platform. The C5000 runs a certified Edge Connect recipe that handles device discovery, label firmware updates, and real-time price synchronization — eliminating the need for Vusion’s own proprietary access points in stores with C5000 coverage.

InVue devices communicate via BLE to nearby Cascade 5000 access points. The C5000 runs InVue’s certified Edge Connect recipe to capture device status, alarm events, battery health, and access activity, then securely forwards that data to Walmart’s cloud platform via MQTT. This gives store teams visibility into protected merchandise and access events without requiring separate InVue-specific infrastructure beyond the devices themselves.
